1 stick butter, melted
1 clove garlic, grated
1 tbsp dried Italian herbs
1 pound 6 oz/170g loaf crusty bread
8 oz/225g Asiago cheese, cut into strips
1 cup shredded Italian 3-cheese blend
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Heat oven to 4OO°. In a bowl, mix first 3 ingredients, season. Slice bread in a grid or slices, being sure not to cut all the way to the bottom. Spoon garlic butter into cuts. Place loaf on a baking sheet lined with foil. Fill cuts with Asiago cheese, sprinkle with Italian cheese blend. Bring foil up to enclose. Bake 3O min. uncovering for last 1O min. Sprinkle with green onions. SERVE \and ENJOY...
