BEEF SKEWERS & LIME WEDGES

MAKES 4 SERVINGS. HALF RECIPE FOR 2.
SKEWERS---
1/2 pound beef steak
2 tsp cornstarch
3 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 lime, cut into wedges
SAUCE---
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbs/21.25g honey
1 tsp hot sauce

TO MAKE SKEWERS---Place steak on a cutting board, slice steak into twelve strips. In a bowl, mix cornstarch with 1 tbs soy sauce. Stir in brown sugar, garlic, oil, and remaining soy sauce. Add beef, turn to coat, refrigerate 2O min. MAKE SAUCE---Whisk together ketchup, honey, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Line baking sheet. Remove steak from marinade. Thread 1 piece meat onto each of 12 skewers, arrange on baking sheet. Heat broiler. Brush both sides of meat with sauce. Broil skewers until browned. Turn skewers, broil to brown other side. SERVE with lime wedges and ENJOY...
