White Chocolate Caroling Cookies
These were one of the 2 cookies I had on my cookie platter. I used regular M&M's in this and it came out great!
Makes about 4 dozen

1 teaspoon baking soda
2/3 cup butter or margarine softened [152 g]
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 -2/3 cups (10-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S Premier White Chips, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 -1/2 cups all-purpose flour [325 g]
2/3 cup sugar [134 g]
1 -1/3 cups (10-oz. pkg.) HERSHEY'S Holiday Candy Coated Bits [280 g]
1. Melt 1 cup of the white chips; cool.
2. Heat oven to 325°. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs in large bowl until creamy. Beat in melted white chips. Stir in flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Stir in remaining white chips and the holiday bits.
3. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until very light brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely.
About 4 dozen cookies
