White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies are soft and delicious. Try these chewy cookies tonight.
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour 146 g]
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3 1/2 ounces macadamia nuts, chopped [100 g]
1 cup vanilla chips [175 g]
Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Combine flour and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts and vanilla chips.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 min. or until golden brown.
Cool for 1 minute on pans before removing to wire racks.
