Gluten-Free Asian Turkey Chili

serves 4

Serve this Asian chili on cooked rice or rice noodles.

1 lb (500 g) Canadian Ground Turkey
10 oz (300 g) chopped Onion
2 Tbsp (25 mL) minced Garlic
2 Tbsp (25 mL) minced Ginger
1 ½ cups (375 mL) gluten-free Turkey Stock
½ cup (125 mL) gluten-free Soya Sauce
¼ cup (50 mL) Ketchup
¾ - 1 tsp (4-5 mL) Hot Pepper flakes
12 oz (375 g) cooked Black Turtle Beans, drained
8 oz (250 g) coarsely chopped Sweet Peppers (red, green or yellow)

1. In a large skillet or wok over medium heat cook turkey, onions, garlic, and ginger, stirring constantly to break up meat, until meat is no longer pink.
2. Add turkey stock, soya sauce, ketchup, hot pepper flakes and beans.
3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
4. Add peppers and cook just until heated through.
5. Serve in bowls.
