DRIZZLED DIPPED PEPPERMINT SPOONS

MAKES 8 SPOONS.

1/4 cup semisweet chocolate morsels [56 g]
1/2 tsp vegetable shortening [100 g]
2 tbs white morsels
3 hard peppermint candies, unwrapped, crushed
8 plastic spoons
8 cellophane bags and ribbons for wrapping

Line baking sheet with wax paper. Microwave semisweet morsels and shortening in bowl on high power for 20 seconds. Stir. Dip end of each spoon in melted chocolate. Place on sheet. Refrigerate 15 min. Microwave white morsels in plastic bag on medium high power for 20 seconds, knead. Microwave 15 seconds, kneading until smooth. *Cut tiny corner from bag. Squeeze to drizzle over ends of dipped spoons. Dip spoons in crushed peppermints. Let stand until set. Insert spoons into cellophane bags and secure with ribbons. SERVE and ENJOY...
