Watermelon Granita






This cool, icy treat is dead simple to make, and it's a healthy alternative to ice cream.

Total time 3-1/4 hours

Ingredients

4 cups seeded diced watermelon
2 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp lime juice


Preparation

In blender, puree together watermelon, sugar and lime juice.

Pour into large metal cake pan; cover and freeze for 3 hours, scraping with fork every hour to create granular consistency.
